Erez Ahrony attended the University of West Los Angeles Law School (UWLA) and obtained his Juris Doctorate in 2018. While at UWLA, he was the one of the founding fathers and Dean of the Bernard Jefferson Senate, Delta Theta Phi Law Fraternity from 2016-2018. Ahrony began his experience in Criminal Defense in 2016. His experiences in the Appeals process are comprehensive including, client intake, reading transcripts, inmate visits, and drafting petitions such as Habeas Corpus.
Ahrony believes that criminal defendants have a right to an appeal. State level remedies must be exhausted first, however the right of a federal review imposes the check of the federal courts on abuses that may occur in the state courts.
